I’m Jo Geekie and I’m the owner of Breakwater Travel Limited.

I’ve been a keen traveller and holiday maker my entire life. I’ve been fortunate to go to some amazing places like Tahiti, Malaysia and the USA and I’m the sort of person who is always planning my next holiday. Travel is very much a passion.

Before creating Breakwater Travel I spent 25 years in corporate life doing contracts and procurement work. It provided great experience but my heart has always been in travel so in 2015 I formed Breakwater Travel Limited. The aim is simple – provide superb levels of service to create amazing holidays and be a local business.

Customers come back because of the service, you’ll never need to quote a customer id or provide 2 digits from a password to talk to us. You benefit from experience, training, access to amazing suppliers and financial protection when you book with us.

Breakwater Travel offers every type of holiday but we are particularly strong in multi centre, bespoke, luxury holidays & cruises. So if you want to visit a few Hawaiian islands, tour Japan, visit Australia and New Zealand or want a cruise and stay holiday get in touch as these are the types of holiday we particularly relish for our customers. We’ve also helped clients have some fabulous honeymoons in the Seychelles, Mauritius, USA and Canada and even Borneo.

We just want to thank you for arranging the most wonderful 10 night cruise holiday to the Western Mediterranean with Holland America. Everything worked so smoothly, especially our transfers in Italy which were efficient, and made a relaxing start to the holiday.

The boutique hotel you suggested in Rome, Relais Santa Maria Maggiore, was delightful, iconically Italian, modern inside, and very well situated in a quiet side street, conveniently close to restaurants and sight seeing.

After our 3 nights in Rome the transfer driver punctually took us to the port, and we were so impressed with the Koningsdam. Our cabin was spacious and well equipped, the bathroom very modern, and the food, in every restaurant, was delicious. The crew were so professional, and friendly, giving the ship a wonderful ambience. The itinerary of the cruise proved just perfect, and the tour you arranged in Cartagena was excellent, the guide was informative, and made a destination we may not have considered very interesting.

Our final transfer back to the airport was as efficient as before, making the perfect end to our holiday.
